Both AIDA and non AIDA students, CS/ECE/EE/AI students/scientists, engineers as well as AI enthusiasts from other scientific disciplines are welcomed to register free of charge on a First-Come-First-Serve basis. Lecture Plan

1) Introduction – Why do we protect consumers? 2) Mapping European Consumer law 3) Behavioral problems in consumer law 4) European Data Protection – overview, challenges and limits of its model 5) Personalization of the law and personalization of consumer contracts 6) Technology and digital markets: disruption, challenges and current regulation – DSA and DMA 7) Contracts and data: legal and economic personalization of contracts in digital networks

Schedule

Course will meet on Tuesdays from 14:30 to 16:30 but 3 lectures will be on other schedules still to be determined.

Notes

Evaluation criteria - The course will have 2 or 3 assignments throughout the course and will have an exam - in person or online. Weights of each part will be specified in the course syllabus.
