AIDA offers its Students and Lecturers access to a wealth of knowledge through AIDA Education and Training Activities in the form of AIDA courses, events and resources offered by AIDA members of any type.
For administrative purposes, e.g., providing AIDA certificates, user (AIDA Lecturer/Student) personal data will be requested to be stored and processed on AIDA Coordinator (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) computers, including, e.g., Identity data (Full name), Contact details (in the form of electronic correspondence), Student performance in AIDA courses (grades, ECTS, remarks) and Data from the use of electronic services (such as cookies, google analytics, internet protocol (IP) addresses, etc. and electronic identification data). AIDA Lecturers will have access to such data related to their courses and our Students to: a) verify Student identity and status and b) store therein AIDA Student performance in the relevant AIDA courses. Moreover, any person authorised in the future by the AIDA Chair can have access to the beforementioned data, to carry out AIDA administrative, technical, or secretarial activities.
AIDA policy is to only ask AIDA Lecturers/Students to store the minimum personal data information required for executing AIDA Educational and Training Activities.
Furthermore, AIDA Coordinator manages a number of email lists for executing AIDA Education and Training Activities and for Dissemination/communication purposes. Registration in such lists is voluntary and unsubscription is available, as stated for the aida@lists.auth.gr in:

Only following a Data Sharing Agreement can personal data collected within AIDA website be shared among legal entities participating in AIDA activities (AIDA members of any type) or AIDA participating “users” (AIDA Lecturers/Students) themselves. AIDA as an entity, cannot be held responsible for any type of personal data processing by individual participating legal entities. Personal data deleted from AIDA website may still be retained by participating AIDA members if they have been transferred to another legal entity.
