Third MICCAI Hackathon on the MICCAI 2022 Conference
25th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI Conference 2022)
MICCAI Hackathon is designed for everyone – the more diverse, the better. So, it does not matter whether you are a clinician, a researcher, an undergraduate student, a postdoc, or a professor. This third edition has a two-stage format consisting of a virtual hackathon weekend on September 3rd/4th, 2022, and a social event (online or presential, in Resort World Convention Centre Singapore), with keynotes on September 18th, 2022, at the satellite events of the MICCAI 2022 conference.
Mentors of the Hackathon:
• Task 1 – Domain Shifts Between Clinical Annotators: Mara Graziani (IBM Research/ZHAW and HES-SO Valais-Wallis) and Henning Müller (HES-SO Valais-Wallis)
• Task 2 – Unsupervised Target Structure Localization: Daniel Erpenbeck (CASCINATION AG)
• Task 3 – Integrated Diagnostics: Zuhir Bodalal (Netherlands Cancer Institute), Stefano Trebeschi (Netherlands Cancer Institute), and Sean Benson (Netherlands Cancer Institute)
• Task 4 – Associations Between Clinical Semantics and Deep Features: Francisco Silva (University of Porto and INESC TEC), Tania Pereira (INESC TEC), and Helder Oliveira (University of Porto and INESC TEC)
• Task 5 – Time-Series Quality Control of Medical Device Manufacturing: Elias Rüfenacht (University of Bern)

Participation in the MICCAI Hackathon is free of charge. However, as the MICCAI Hackathon is an official satellite event at the MICCAI conference, attending the (optional) social event at the half-day satellite event underlies the registration fees of the satellite event day.
