These terms of use set out the terms for use of the “AIDA Portal” (website) and applies to all users of and visitors to the AIDA Portal (‘you’). Please read these terms of use carefully before you begin to use the AIDA Portal.

The AIDA Portal is managed by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), supporting the activities and offers of the International AI Doctoral Academy (AIDA). The Host and the Manager of the AIDA Portal platform is AUTH, which is the Controller for personal data.

By using the AIDA Portal, you accept these terms of use and agree to abide by them. Please do not use the AIDA Portal if you do not agree with these terms of use. Access to the AIDA Portal is on a temporary basis and the Host reserves the right to withdraw or amend the service provided to you on the AIDA Portal at any time. Sections of the AIDA Portal may be restricted to certain users at any time. AIDA portal users can enter, correct and delete their personal data but must retain the minimum personal data required to perform AIDA’s Educational and Training Activities. Any links within the AIDA Portal to third party websites are not checked by the Host and the Host bears no responsibility for the content of external sites. If you access external sites through the AIDA Portal, you do so at your own risk.

Disclaimer

AUTH forbids the usage of personal data in other contexts than the AIDA Portal regarding third parties. In compliance with the GDPR, AUTh is not competent to guarantee the protection of personal data in the course of personal activity of the user that is involved in social networking and online activity undertaken within the context of such activity. Such further processing entails the automatic termination of the use of the AIDA Portal. Against this background, the AUTH ensures only the protection of personal data given by its users with the view of using the AIDA Portal within the limits set by the lawfulness of processing as defined in the GDPR (recital 18 and article 6).

Liability

The Host accepts no liability for any claims, penalties, loss or expenses arising from your use of the AIDA Portal including: any reliance you might place on the content of the AIDA Portal; use of or inability to use the AIDA Portal; the downloading  of any materials from the AIDA Portal; or any unauthorised use or access to the AIDA Portal.
